Edgecombe County License Plate Agency Remodeling
The Edgecombe County License Plate Agency, located at 201 St Andrew St, Tarboro, NC, will be CLOSED for remodeling beginning Friday, October 21, 2016, at 2:00 pm. The office will reopen Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 8:00 am. Please see the below list of surrounding License Plate Agencies who can assist you during this time:

Unfortunately, Toys for Tots™ will NOT be sponsoring Edgecombe County DSS for Christmas assistance this year. Edgecombe DSS has limited resources this year for Christmas Assistance. Any resources that may be available will be on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee how many children will be served or the quantity of items each child will receive from any sponsor. You may contact the local Salvation Army for Christmas assistance. The deadline for the Salvation Army application is October 20, 2016. Please contact them for more information.

2017 COUNTY-WIDE REVALUATION
Effective July 1, 2015 the County-wide Revaluation started with the field canvassing crew. All authorized individuals should be on a marked car and have an ID badge on them.

Diabetes Support Group - The Edgecombe County Health Department Chronic Disease Self-Management Program is sponsoring a monthly Diabetes Support Group. The meetings will be held the first Monday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Edgecombe County Human Services Building located at 122 E. St. James Street in downtown Tarboro. Safe Plate Training - This is a comprehensive program for food service managers and supervisory staff in restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, child-care facilities and other food handling establishments.
Successful completion of this course meets NC Food and Sanitation Regulation for food safety training.
