The Patrol Division of the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office consists of thirty deputies.

This division is responsible for responding to calls for service from the citizens of Edgecombe County, service of criminal warrants and assisting in civil processes.

The division is divided into four squads, which provide twenty-four hour/seven days a week of service to the citizens of Edgecombe County.

The division has two Patrol Lieutenants and each squad has a sergeant and corporal to monitor and supervise their shift. Each of the four squads are also equipped with a K-9 Unit.
