NOTICE OF NEGOTIATED OFFER BY LarGerko LLC TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 121 TARBORO ST., ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA FROM EDGECOMBE COUNTY SUBJECT TO UPSET BID
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Section 160A-269 of the General Statutes of the State North Carolina that through negotiation, LarGerKo LLC has offered to purchase from Edgecombe County, that certain lots or parcels of real property located at 121 Tarboro Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina described as follows:
A certain parcel lying on the south side of Tarboro Street and the west side of Washington Street in the City of Rocky Mount, Edgecombe County, North Carolina, identified with tax parcel identification number 3759-69-8916. A more detailed description can be found in deed recorded in Book 1217, page 093, Edgecombe County Registry.
Said property is to be purchased for $175,000.00 in cash. Any other prospective purchaser may raise the bid for the foregoing real property by not less than ten percent (10%) of the first One Thousand Dollars and five percent (5%) of the remainder of the offer (or a minimum increase of $8,800.00) provided such raised bid is offered to the County at the Office of the County Manager located in the County Administration at 201 St, Andrew Street, Tarboro, NC, within ten (10) days from the publication of this notice. If a raised bid is submitted, the bidder must deposit with the County Manager’s Office 5% of the amount of such raised bid. If no raised bid is received for said real property within said ten-day (10) period, the proposed sale of said real property will be consummated. Edgecombe County reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
