Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Commissioner’s Room of the Administrative Building located at 201 St. Andrew Street, Tarboro, North Carolina. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider and act on proposed amendment to Article II “Animal Control” of the Edgecombe County Code of Ordinances.
The proposed amendments are intended to clarify and improve provisions in the County’s Code of Ordinances to better protect the welfare of animals. A copy of the proposed amendments is on display for public inspection in the Office of County Manager, in the County Administration Building, Room 402 St. Andrew St., Tarboro, NC 27886 during regular business hours.
