Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Commissioners’ Room of the Administrative Building located at 201 St. Andrew Street, Tarboro, North Carolina. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider and act on a proposed amendment to Chapter 2 – Administration, Article II. Section 2-60 “Conduct of Debate” of the Edgecombe County Code of Ordinances.
The proposed amendment is intended to allow a member or members of the Board of Commissioners to participate in a meeting from a remote location by phone, video or other type of communication. A copy of the proposed amendment is on display for public inspection in the Office of County Manager, in the County Administration Building, Room 402 St. Andrew St., Tarboro, NC 27886 during regular business hours.
