The NC Department of Motor Vehicles has announced that for the health and safety of customers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, some DMV drivers license offices will remain closed. This includes the office here in Tarboro.
Click here for a list of offices.
The open offices have transitioned to handle appointment-only visits and will limit the number of customers allowed inside at the same time, depending on the office size. €‹ Before visiting an office, please check to see if it is open and what its operating hours are. Visit the NCDMV website for more information.
Please note that this does not apply to the DMV License Plate Agency operated by Edgecombe County, which is currently opened in the County Administration Building at 201 St. Andrew St. Tarboro. We have protective measures in place, and we encourage customers to wear a face covering when entering the office.
